About Me

I’m a speech language pathologist who, over fifteen years of working with neurodiverse children and their families, came to understand something important: neurodiversity doesn’t stop at childhood. The same traits that show up in a neurodiverse child — difficulty reading social cues, hyperfocus, black-and-white thinking — shape marriages, family dynamics, and close relationships in ways that often go unrecognised well into adulthood.

That realisation led me to specialise in neurodiversity counseling for adults, couples, and families. I work with people at different points in that journey: a partner who feels chronically unheard but can’t explain why; a parent trying to support a neurodiverse teenager or young adult at home; someone beginning to recognise their own neurodivergent traits. I frequently work with just one person rather than both partners — it’s rarely the case that both are ready to seek help at the same time, and that’s completely normal.

I trained as a speech language pathologist and am certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association and Speech Pathology Australia. In 2008, I founded the Speech Dysphagia Language Clinic (SDLC) in Mumbai, a multidisciplinary clinic working with neurodiverse children and adults. Seeing how neurodiverse traits ripple through families led me to deepen my focus: I am certified by the Aspergers/Autism Network (AANE) as a couples counselor, and I bring that clinical perspective to all my work.

My approach is practical and direct. I am not here to assign blame or revisit your childhood. I want to help you understand what is actually happening — and give you real tools to navigate it. There is more about me on my LinkedIn profile.
